Available 100% online or on campus, this course will equip you with core skills in science, engineering and technology. It is also a direct pathway into higher education courses in these disciplines, should you wish to continue studying.
During this course you will learn about the principles that underpin the understanding of engineering, IT or science disciplines. The course is designed to support your learning needs and develop your study skills.
On completing the Undergraduate Certificate Introduction to Science, Engineering and Technology, you will be eligible to use the credits you’ve gained towards further study of a:

Standard entry
- Recent secondary Qualify for the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE), Northern Territory Certificate of Education (NTCE) or equivalent recent year 12 qualification (including the International Baccalaureate Diploma). Higher Ed Completed or partially completed a recognised higher education program at a recognised higher education institution, or Completed a University Foundation Studies, Bridging or Enabling program Work-Life Other Completed a non-recent SACE/NTCE or equivalent secondary education qualification, including the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB), or Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) Personal competencies and/or employment experience (optional) VET Completed an award from a registered training organisation at Certificate III level or above
If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result. Always confirm exclusions for professional registration courses and the offer conditions.
