Want to prepare for a career in global conservation and wildlife management? Choose this program to study native and exotic amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals, biodiversity and human-wildlife interactions.Students will build their scientific knowledge in animal biology, wildlife anatomy and physiology. They study reproductive biology, breeding and genetics, nutrition, and animal health. Working with leading wildlife scientists and biologists, they learn to manage wild animals. They gain the knowledge to develop management programs for both captive and free-roaming wildlife. Students develop their practical skills in wildlife trapping, species identification, and animal handling. They also gain hands-on experience through industry placements at zoos, sanctuaries, and wildlife parks.
