Griffith University has one of Australia's largest and most highly recognised aviation teaching programs. Over the past 25 years teaching in this field, we have built an international reputation for graduates who are industry ready. Our aviation staff have strong industry ties and some are world leaders in aviation research. You will be introduced to the sciences underpinning the theory and practice of aviation. You will also study courses in areas such as navigation, safety management systems and the human factors in aviation. Through the Bachelor of Aviation, you will develop the skills needed for lifelong learning in the evolving aviation environment.

Career Opportunities
The Bachelor of Aviation will prepare you for employment in the aviation industry in a variety of areas such as management, research safety and human factors roles. Our graduates have been successful in gaining a range of flying and management positions with organisations such as Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Etihad, Jetstar, Qantas, Regional Express and Virgin Australia as well as Airservices Australia and the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. The Qantas Group-Aviation Career Enrichment (Q-ACE) Program) is open to all Bachelor of Aviation students and provides students with mentoring from experienced pilots during their degree. Graduates of the Q-ACE may be selected to transition to employment with QantasLink. Double degree graduates have further career opportunities in the engineering and IT areas of the aviation industry including certification, research, design and development.
