Course overview
This diploma allows successful students to transition into the Bachelor of Education by providing the prerequisite knowledge and skills required to meet entry requirements. Students develop critical and reflective thinking skills to understand the complexities of what it means to be a teacher in today’s world. Successful graduates can apply for the Bachelor of Education degree with either primary or secondary majors. By continuing studies in the Bachelor of Education degree, students meet the national accreditation requirements of the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership and can choose to be equipped to teach in either primary or secondary settings.
