Graduate Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)
ProviderFlinders UniversityCourse overview
Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (or TESOL) is both the practice of teaching English as an additional language and the academic field which studies the learning and teaching of English. There are millions of people learning English across the globe, and a Graduate Certificate in TESOL will equip you with the knowledge, skills and tools for teaching English. Youll also have the opportunity to undertake a teaching practicum covering observation, teaching, lesson planning and development and reflection on teaching. A TESOL qualification provides you with the skills and knowledge to teach English in a range of contexts within Australia, such as private language colleges or other registered training organisations, as well as internationally, in schools, universities and private colleges worldwide.
