Course overview
The purpose of the Bachelor of Software Engineering - Creative is to provide a targeted programme of study in a clearly defined sub-sector of the ICT industry to generate creative, adaptive, and diverse software specialists, who have acquired holistic understanding of the software development lifecycle. This is achieved through consistent collaborative investigation and learning in integrated, transdisciplinary teams to produce high quality, user-centric software products. A fundamental purpose of this degree is to fill a skill gap in the software development sector, through development of graduates who are commercially and creatively driven to use their expertise to increase New Zealand's standing on the global software stage.
