The Bachelor of Information Technology and Systems (BITS) focuses on delivering knowledge and skills in contemporary IT areas, such as analytics, application development, cyber security and computer networking to meet the current IT industry needs. The Bachelor of Information Technology and Systems course ensures that graduates develop a broad and coherent body of knowledge in the underlying principles and concepts of information technology. BITS allows students to explore and identify critical IT industry demands and understand how these demands are met. The BITS course at VIT is designed to produce graduates with a strong industry focus who have demonstrated the full range of knowledge and skills gained through a relevant capstone project in the final year.
