The Diploma of Psychology is a pathway program that leads to second year entry of the Bachelor of Psychological Science - students will complete an additional two years in the bachelor degree after finishing the diploma. In the pathway diploma you will study core subjects: Scientific Foundations of Psychology, Introductory Psychology: Brain and Mind, Introductory Psychology: People and Culture, Applied Psychology. You will also choose from a range of elective subjects. Upon successful completion of the Diploma of Psychology, you will progress into second year of the Bachelor of Psychological Science degree at La Trobe University, where you will focus on psychology subjects and choose electives from dozens of areas outside psychology including legal studies, criminology, business, management, marketing, sociology, sciences, genetics, language, drama, media studies, and more.
