The Diploma of Business provides the theoretical and practical foundation of the most important areas of a business. It consists of eight core units in business, which include marketing, information technology, economics, commercial law, management, statistics, accounting, and business communication.
The course provides a foundation for further study in the areas of accounting, business, commerce, management, and marketing. You may also find entry-level positions in business, service, financial, and government organisations on completion of the course.
The course is delivered in small classes through lectures, seminars, tutorials and presentations. Students will learn through case study analysis, presentations, projects (academic) and technology supported activities.
The duration of the course is two trimesters or one academic year.
