Completing the Diploma of Engineering will give you direct entry into the second year of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at Deakin University.
The Diploma of Engineering is a broad course that will give you the skills and knowledge required for a full spectrum of opportunities in the field of engineering. The Mechatronics Engineering major will be offered at Burwood (Melbourne) from 2024.
You will need to maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 50% during the diploma to successfully transition to the second year of the bachelor.
The diploma will consist of 8 core modules and 2 math units*
*Only required if student has not met the mathematics requirements
