Bachelor of Design Arts

LCI Melbourne’s accelerated two-year Bachelor of Design Arts, majoring in Fashion & Costume Design, sharpens your design thinking and problem-solving abilities. You'll delve into the core principles of form, silhouette, materials, and garment construction, gaining the technical expertise needed to thrive in the fashion industry. All within a supportive, inclusive environment that celebrates creative individuality.  The trimester-based academic calendar consists of three 13-week terms each year, allowing you to complete your degree in just two years. In your first trimester, you’ll explore foundational art and design concepts, guided by experienced academic mentors who are practicing artists and designers. Their multidisciplinary expertise will help you discover the creative path that aligns with your strengths. Beginning in your second trimester, you’ll choose your major and sub-major from six creative disciplines, tailoring your studies to your passion.
