Course overview
LCI Melbourne’s two-year Bachelor of Design Arts, with a major in Visual Arts, will allow you to explore diverse mediums and enhance your visual literacy skills. Craft original pieces, curate exhibitions and delve into contemporary methods in a nurturing studio environment. Explore your creativity in an inclusive environment that fosters individuality.
The LCI Melbourne trimester calendar has three study terms of 13 weeks per year; this means you complete the degree in 2 years. The first trimester introduces you to an exploration of art and design principles. The school’s academic mentors, all active designers and artists themselves, will inspire you across multiple disciplines, providing guidance on the creative field that best suits you. You will then select your specialisation starting in your second trimester, where you will choose your major and sub major of one of 6 creative disciplines.
