Course overview
The Bachelor of Education (Primary) is a four-year full-time course that prepares you as a primary teacher. Graduates are eligible to apply for registration as a teacher in Australia. You will be qualified to teach in Christian schools, government schools, Catholic schools and independent schools.
Education graduates can develop advanced understanding of learning and teaching pedagogies, critical thinking skills, and practical teaching strengths, making them shine as educators. All units engage with a Christian worldview perspective. Core theological units will challenge, broaden and connect your understanding of the Christian faith with your educational vocation.
This course is integrated with the Bachelor of Education (Secondary), and the Bachelor of Arts. You can transfer easily from one course to the other in the first two years of study. This provides great flexibility as we recognise that your early goals can change as your studies progress.
