Course overview
Choose an accounting major to gain financial expertise. Your specialist knowledge will help inform better business decisions for companies. Whether you pursue a career as an accountant, business analyst, auditor or financial adviser your skills will be sought after in companies. You'll gain necessary skills for a range of accounting activities while developing a sound business education.
The course comprises 24 units, including core business specialist, and elective units including a stream of Business Challenge units which are designed to build and enhance skills in critical thinking, academic writing, problem solving, project management career preparedness, with an entrepreneurial mindset and global perspective. You can also complete a second major from 11 business fields giving you opportunity to broaden your career prospects. Work-Integrated Learning units are available and provide opportunities to apply learning and enhance practical work skills preparing students for employment.
