Course overview
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and contribute to the development of our communities though education. This course is for individuals who are passionate about education, enjoy working with children, and aspire to make a positive impact.
In this course, students learn the knowledge and skills necessary to become an effective primary school teacher and develop their teacher identity. Students will gain a strong foundation in education theory and teaching methodologies, as well as practical experience and engagement with schools and communities.
This course has a Generalist Primary focus, or a Health and Physical Education focus. Students can also choose a minor study in Early Childhood Education, English, Health and Physical Education, Inclusive Education, STEM, Student Wellbeing, The Arts, The Humanities or Working Multi-lingually. Our graduates possess globally transferable skills to work in an educational context both in Australia and overseas.
