Bachelor of Education (Primary and Early Childhood Education)

Do you want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children? This course is for individuals who are passionate about education, enjoy working with children, and aspire to make a positive impact. This qualification enables you to work in a range of primary and early childhood education settings. Students learn the knowledge and skills necessary to become an effective primary teacher and early childhood educator. Students build a solid foundation in educational theory and contemporary approaches to teaching and learning in both primary and early education settings. Students also complete a minimum of 120 days supervised placement in school environments and in birth to 35-month and before school (3-5 years) settings. Subjects centre around primary and early childhood teaching, promoting literacy and numeracy, an appreciation of diversity, evidence-based decision making and reflective practice.
