Pharmaceutical engineers work in all aspects of design and development, from experimenting with innovative formulations to manufacturing commercialised products. They improve industrial processes and equipment for pharmaceutical manufacturing, research naturally occurring chemical reactions and copy these processes for society's benefit, or develop cleaner production technologies and methods for treating by-products.
