Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Economics

A degree in each of commerce and economics gives you a powerful skill set. You will learn to harness your analytical, strategic and numerical skills and apply them in a commercial capacity. In your economics study you will focus on economics and economic policy, mathematical economics and econometrics, business analytics for economics or macroeconomics and financial markets. You will then extend your expertise as an economist with further commerce study giving you additional skills to pursue expert roles in that industry, or to work across industries. Valued for your training in analytical, conceptual and quantitative skills and techniques, you will be ready to join the next generation of commercial leaders. You will be highly employable in many industries with opportunities in government departments and agencies such as the Reserve Bank of Australia, the Australian Bureau of Statistics, the Australian Treasury, the Productivity Commission and the Australian National Audit Office.
