Course overview

The Bachelor of Interactive Media provides a comprehensive foundation for the understanding and application of communication and design principles in multimedia and IT in its variety of formats, from the traditional to the contemporary. It explores interactive media in all its modes, from print, film, programming and web applications to 3D animation and its application in gaming, augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), advertising and film.

The course aims to enhance and actualise creative potential by refining students' skills in critical and analytical thinking and by cultivating an understanding of the underpinnings of professional applications of design principles in multimedia environments. This is additionally supported by training in industry-preferred software.
