Course overview
The Bachelor of Creative Practice is for specialist creative practitioners who wish to develop strong practical skills in their creative medium. The Bachelor of Creative Practice uses a studio-based learning approach which enables students to use a practice-based learning model to hone their practical skills while at the same time developing sound underpinning knowledge, not only in their artistic discipline, but also in the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation. The course uses a mix of face-to-face learning in a studio setting and facilitated online learning. Students can choose to specialise in Visual Arts or Music Production and Performance.

Career Opportunities
A range of roles in the cultural and creative industries, including self-employment opportunities, 'portfolio employment', small business entrepreneurship, government and arts sector roles. Some graduates go onto roles like: visual arts and crafts professionals, musician, composer, producer, sound engineer, artist, graphic designer, art director, production designer, studio manager and gallery curator.
Advanced Standing
Students who have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a related creative field will be eligible to apply for advanced standing in the Bachelor.

Standard entry
- Minimum eligibility requirements Applicants are required to hold, at minimum, one of the following to be considered eligible for admission: a NSW HSC (Higher School Certificate) or equivalent OR a recognised Tertiary Preparation Certificate OR a qualification from a Registered Training Organisation at Certificate IV level or above OR the completion of at least one year full-time or equivalent in a degree course at a higher education institution. Additional requirements In addition to the minimum eligibility requirements all applicants are required to submit a portfolio of creative / art work as part of their application. Applicants may be invited to attend a pre-admission interview.
