Course overview
The Bachelor of Cyber Security offered by AIBI HE is a technical course designed to prepare you for an exciting career in cyber security. This three-year degree will prepare you with a deep understanding of the concepts and technologies related to information security.
You’ll study a range of subjects developed in response to industry needs. In your first year, you’ll learn the foundations of information security, such as programming, networks and databases. Building on these core skills, you’ll tackle more specialised subjects in your second year, such as those in applied cryptography and network, web and cloud security. In your third and final year, you’ll explore more advanced areas of study such as digital forensics, cybergovernance compliance, penetration testing and IoT security.

Standard entry
- Applicants with recent secondary education 17 years of age or older at the time of course commencement. Applicants who have achieved an ATAR of 60, or equivalent, will be granted admission. Applicants who receive less than 60 in their ATAR after completing Year 12 may be granted admission. Applicants who have achieved an equivalent secondary qualification either interstate or overseas may be granted admission. Applicants with overseas qualifications 18 years of age or older at the time of course commencement. Year 12 Completion (or equivalent). Requirements differ per country. English requirements: IELTS: 6.0 Overall (no band less than 5.5, or equivalent) PTE: 52 Overall (no band less than 50, or equivalent).
