This course prepares men and women for vocations in Christian ministry in various denominational and other settings. It includes systematic study, wide reading and practical ministry education.
The Bachelor of Ministry of the ACCS curriculum is arguably our broadest and most comprehensive. It offers an extensive range of subjects in Christian studies to propel you into the loftiest of potential career outcomes. Our Ministry degree will facilitate the growth of mature Christians aspiring toward leading church activities, including eldership, deaconship and youth ministry.
Deepening and strengthening essentials skills of Bible interpretation, functional local church engagement and communication skills, these highly practical Christian studies will inspire a renewed approach and confidence. It provides a firm grounding in Biblical studies with solid theological applications; this course propels a finely tuned understanding and interpretation of the Scriptures into relevant ministry impact. Students learn to use sound principles of biblical interpretation and to apply biblical principles to specific areas of ministry (e.g. pastoral care, preaching, peaching and leadership), and gain practical experience through a field education placement.
