Early Years education enriches learning in children from birth to five years by giving children the opportunity to maximise their potential and develop a foundation for lifelong learning.
You will be equipped with the latest education technology, including access to UOW’s new Early Start facility, which connects our Wollongong and regional campuses with early childhood education and care services across NSW and with partners in national and international institutions.
Alongside the program’s distinctive design and flexible approach to professional experience, you will be paired with an industry mentor who will provide ongoing guidance throughout your degree. Additionally, you will have full access to UOW’s comprehensive support services.

If you are a diploma qualified early childhood educator, you should apply for admission to the Bachelor of Education – The Early Years (Accelerated). This exciting online program was developed by UOW in partnership with the Early Learning and Care Council of Australia (ELACCA) and the NSW Department of Education and is designed to support the upskilling of diploma qualified educators to become Early Childhood Teachers in just two years.Entry requirements
