To start with, pick your majors to suit your career goals. You have the option not only to select any one of the 10 Science majors but also to select the second elective major either from science or from 3 of the Medical Science majors (Anatomy and Physiology, Biomedical Science and Human Nutrition). For example, B Science (Innovative Foods)(Human Nutrition), B Science (Biology)(Biomedical Science) etc., Instead of a second major, you can select any flexible eight subjects of your choice to complete your program. This flexibility provides you with the option to study more science subjects and/or science minors. Alternately, you may like to use these flexible spaces to specialise in any other discipline of your choosing (e.g,. data science, computer programming, public health and many more possibilities exist). Your friendly Academic Program Advisors will help you to design your science degree to suit your interests and future goals.
With these flexible options, you’ll be able to open up a world of unlimited opportunities in agriculture, animal science, applied physics, biology, chemistry, drug design and pharmaceuticals, ecology, environmental health, food science and technology, forensic science, crime scene investigations, molecular biotechnology, nutrition, hospital or pathology laboratories, plant science and horticulture, climate change, teaching and wildlife management.

Assumed knowledge: At least two of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics Advanced, Physics.
Students who have not undertaken HSC-level mathematics, or have attempted Mathematics Standard 2 or Mathematics Advanced but achieved no higher than Band 2 or 3, may be required to take a study pattern that includes preparatory studies in mathematics in readiness for the higher level mathematics required in this program.
