Course overview

This highly sought after course prepares students for the planning, design, implementation, management and maintenance of wired and wireless computer networks. MIT Sydney's course is at the cutting edge of computer systems technology enabling students to learn the latest principles and concepts in networking, as well as the planning, analysis and application of the latest technologies to provide network services. Students will use the latest technology to understand and apply theory and knowledge around platform technologies and multimedia systems. Students can also choose to major in cyber security, which has been designed specifically to respond to market needs. As malware and cybercrime become more sophisticated more cyber security specialists will be required in the years to come.

MIT Sydney students will graduate job-ready and able to apply their skills in networking and system administration in a professional setting, working independently or as members of a team.
