There are two work integrated learning (WIL) subjects in this degree. The two WIL subjects are usually completed over two study periods and will provide you with a wealth of hands-on practical work experience in your specialised area. This means you'll graduate not only with a degree but also with work experience and connections in the industry.

Applicants with recent secondary education

ICMS does not use ATAR selection ranks for admissions.

Applicants are assessed on performance in individual HSC (or equivalent) subjects and prospective applicants may be contacted by ICMS to attend an interview.

Recommended studies: Completion of NSW HSC (or equivalent) with a minimum Band 2 in English Standard or English EAL/D and a Band 2 in any one of the following suggested equivalent subjects including Mathematics Standard 2, Business Studies, Economics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Legal Studies, Financial Services or Business Services.

International student applicants seeking entry into Aspire Institute Diploma courses are required to satisfy:

the academic entry requirements: Completion of Australian Year 12 (or equivalent).
the English language proficiency requirements where applicable: IELTS Overall 6.0; Writing 5.5; Speaking 5.5 (or equivalent)

Interview: A personal application interview may be required.

ICMS undergraduate admission criteria

Applicants with higher education study

A completed higher education qualification or a minimum of four completed undergraduate subjects (an equivalent of 12 ICMS credit points) or equivalent.

Applicants with vocational education and training (VET) study

A completed Certificate IV or above (or equivalent).

Applicants with work and life experience

Must demonstrate ability to undertake study at this level with evidence of relevant work experience such as CV/resume with at least two reference letters.

Alternatively, with formal, informal or non-formal study, completed or partially completed, demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success.
