Diagnostic radiography is an important first step to diagnosing, treating and managing injuries and disease. Through the Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Honours) (Diagnostic Radiography), you will learn how to use sophisticated technology to create medical images and analyse and manage patient health to save and improve lives.
During your degree you will have access to the latest diagnostic radiography technologies through placement opportunities and on campus, in our world-class, purpose-built, health sciences precinct. The range of imaging technologies used in your degree and well into your career include plain x-rays, computed tomography (CT), fluoroscopy, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, angiography, and mammography.
