Talented Students Program: The Science Talented Students Program introduces high performing students entering the Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) to cutting-edge, world-class research at UNSW Science. The program offers these students exposure to research, networking opportunities and provides a degree that is flexible and tailored to suit students' needs and talents.

Invitation to participate in the program is made by the Dean of Science on the basis of outstanding secondary education performance (ATAR or equivalent). All incoming students are assessed for eligibility including non-high school leavers. High performing current UNSW Science students in the Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) will be invited to join at the end of their first year.

Double degrees: Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) can be combined with 424100 Bachelor of Commerce, 424470 Bachelor of Economics, 426000 Bachelor of Law, 429360 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), 429361 Bachelor of Science (Computer Science), 429370 Bachelor of Arts, 422301 Bachelor of Social Sciences, or 425560 Bachelor of Fine Arts.
