Course overview
The EmpowerED learning program provides a pathway for applicants who don't meet the formal admission requirements to enter an undergraduate degree at Griffith University.
This free, comprehensive preparatory program, gives you the opportunity to experience university life while building your confidence and academic study skills. You'll gain fundamental knowledge and skills - including the essentials of critical reading, writing and referencing - in a supportive learning environment.
Note: This program is offered full-time and part-time at the Gold Coast and Logan campuses. Courses are also available online. Each course is delivered in a 6 week block model with two, three-hour workshops per week. Students will complete the program full-time from January to June or July to December.

Entry requirements
Switch between domestic ATAR data and international qualification equivalents.
Use the domestic ATAR data for now, or ask Achieva AI to assess your background manually.
If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result. Always confirm exclusions for professional registration courses and the offer conditions.
