Career opportunities
Put your Diploma of Environmental Studies to work straight away as an environmental officer, landcare coordinator, project officer, or field supervisor in a range of roles within a host of government, public, or private organisations. You could be involved in conservation and land management, environment and sustainability, recycling and waste management, or the provision of green products and services.
Students who choose to continue their studies and gain a bachelor's degree may become involved in project management, strategic planning, policy development, and research in these same areas. Standard entry
- Applicants with recent secondary education A completed High School Certificate with the minimum ATAR required (including adjustment factors) or equivalent
- or A completed Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) with an equivalent ranking to the currently listed ATAR
If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result. Always confirm exclusions for professional registration courses and the offer conditions.
