Course overview

The Bachelor of Business prepares students for a professional career in a business environment. With major areas of study offered in accounting, human resource management, marketing and business administration, students will graduate with a broad, real-world skill set.

Our lecturers have an extensive understanding of business environments, providing a dynamic learning environment for students to be creative and innovative in problem solving. With small class sizes, students will benefit from personalised support in their studies.

Students are strongly encouraged to undertake an internship as a part of their course. This requires a minimum of 120 hours in a professional environment related to their area of study, preparing students to step into their careers with confidence.

Practical experience

As part of the Bachelor of Business program, students are strongly encouraged to participate in the unit ‘Internship in Business’. Internships offer a unique opportunity to apply theoretical concepts in real-world scenarios, fostering a deeper understanding of industry dynamics and professional expectations. Through a minimum of 120 hours hands-on involvement, interns gain valuable skills specific to their discipline and develop essential workplace attributes such as effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Employers increasingly recognise the significance of an internship experience on a graduate’s resume, making this experience a valuable way to enhance employability and launch a successful career.
