Course overview

The Bachelor of High Performance Sport provides an extensive knowledge and skills base relevant to human performance from the physiological, psychological, bio-mechanical and nutritional perspectives.  Students will gain the skills to optimize sports performance through analysis, exercise programming, and the strength and conditioning of athletes. Students will also learn to design and deliver programs to enhance athletic performance and reduce the likelihood of injury and illness.

Assumed knowledge: English Standard (Band 3).

Recommended studies: Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE), any 2 units of mathematics or one of Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
