Course overview
Skills development is focused on managerial decision-making, business and personal leadership, and the ethics of values-based management. Students gain specialist knowledge in at least one business discipline according to the major/s they choose (in the Commerce component of the double degree), with opportunities available for wider study in business-related fields of study. Plus, Microsoft certifications are built into the degree.

Professional recognition
Graduates are eligible for membership of the following organisations depending on the major completed: Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, CPA Australia, Australian Human Resources Institute and Australian Marketing Institute.
Practical experience
Required: Students must complete one unit of applied professional skills as a volunteer in a not-for-profit organisation and one Professional Experience unit involving a professional placement within a business firm (in the relevant discipline area) over a period of 105 hours per unit.

If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package.
