Course overview
Equip yourself with the quantitative and analytic skills to enhance your employability across a broad range of commercial and government institutions. You’ll graduate with two degrees in just four years, with a Bachelor of Economics where you will take either the Financial Economics (Extended Major) or the Economics (Extended Major), and a Bachelor of Commerce where you’ll choose a major from a wide range of options.
Why study this degree?
In a competitive employment market, you’ll maximise your career options by developing a thorough grounding in economic theory and practice along with strong business and commercial skills.
Coupled with this breadth of knowledge, you’ll gain valuable practical skills either by way of undertaking an internship with a private or public organisation, or through an industry-based project unit in your final year. You’ll also get to experience our world-class Trading Room, using software and technology found in most modern financial institutions.
You’ll graduate with two qualifications, having cut two years off the time it takes you to study two degrees. If you decide either degree isn't right for you, you can exit one and complete the other.
