Course overview
The Diploma of Early Childhood and Primary Education (Montessori) is accredited with TEQSA (Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency) and the 0-3 & 3-6 focus is recognised by ACECQA (Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority) as an approved Diploma level Early Childhood qualification.
It complements or lays the foundation for working in an educational environment with children, either as a teacher assistant or room leader/supervisor within a child care or family day care setting. For those who already have an ECT qualification, studying 3-6 years would prepare you to work as an ECT Montessori teacher in a school or centre.
The 6-12 years focus Diploma, with an approved Bachelor of Education and teacher registration, is suitable for teaching in Montessori primary environments.
