The Bachelor of Communications and Media introduces students to the field of communications and media and provides learning opportunities for them to develop in-depth skills in areas of communication practice. Students explore core concepts in cultural studies of the media, and develop creative, practical and technical skills appropriate for a wide range of industry settings. Graduates of this course will be multi-skilled media practitioners with an industry standard portfolio of work. The course also develops transferable skills, including the ability to think critically, creatively and ethically, solve problems innovatively, be culturally and globally aware, communicate effectively, and engage in life-long learning.
