Professional Recognition
This degree is accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards Council Inc., and internationally by the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in the United Kingdom. When you graduate, you will be qualified to register immediately and practise as a vet in Australia and other countries including New Zealand, UK, Europe, Singapore, Malaysia and North America. Graduating from an accredited veterinary school is essential before you can practice as a licensed veterinarian.Entry requirements

Standard entry

Further information on Admissions pathways for Murdoch can be found in the Admission Pathways Selected students will be admitted into the first year of the veterinary course directly from school. The point of entry for those who have done other study will be determined based on prior completion of units. STAT is not accepted for entry to this course, but may be used to demonstrate English competence requirements.

If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package.
