With growing populations globally, managing environments to ensure sustainable use of resources and conservation of biodiversity is more important than ever. Launch your career in environmental management with a local, national and international focus.

Understand how to critically analyse issues, solve problems, and communicate effectively with others as you tackle current and future environmental issues and develop sustainable solutions. With practical experience throughout the course, including both on campus and in field trips, you’ll develop knowledge in environmental restoration and management, approaches to sustainability, and technical skills in statistics and mapping technology.

Standard entry

  • All applicants Admissions requirements can be found at the Environmental Management and Sustainability page. Further information on Admissions pathways for Murdoch can be found in the Admission Pathways Applicants with Vocational Education and Training (VET) study Completed VET qualification of Certificate IV or above. Applicants with work and life experience STAT is accepted for entry. Elements considered: Written English and either Verbal or Quantitative. Mature Age Pathway - An interview and portfolio submission is available to applicants who do not meet Entry Requirements through previous study but who feel they have relevant work and life experience.
