This Animation, Visual Effects and Virtual Production major is offered as part of the Bachelor of Digital Creative Industries.

Animators and visual effects artists are experts in computer-generated imagery, enhancing visual elements in various media settings to communicate and develop immersive stories across a range of industries.

This course equips students with skills and knowledge to address new workflows for the animation and visual effects sectors in the creation of digital content. Students focus on creative knowledge and content creation for a range of digital modalities and platforms such as film, social media, games and VR.

Students will have the opportunity to explore creative research informing the digital creative industry, while developing their creative practice in the latest animation and visual effects, virtual production practices and tools, to create compelling stories and content.
