- An applicant for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Education (generic and with specialisations) must have at least the following minimum qualifications: Hold the degree of Bachelor (or AQF equivalent) in any discipline from a University or other approved tertiary institution and a minimum of two years of professional experience in a field deemed to be closely related to education.
- Hold the degree of Bachelor (or AQF equivalent) in any discipline from a University or other approved tertiary institution and Graduate Diploma (or AQF equivalent) in teaching/education or any relevant field considered appropriate to the program of study and minimum of one year professional experience in a field of study related to education.
- Hold the degree of Bachelor (or AQF equivalent) in any discipline from a University or other approved tertiary institution and Graduate Certificate (or AQF equivalent) in teaching/education or any relevant field considered appropriate to the program of study plus a minimum of 1.5 years professional experience in related field of study.
- Possess other qualifications and/or work experience deemed to be AQF equivalent.
