Charles Sturts Bachelor of Paramedicine prepares you to work in emergency ambulance and out-of-hospital healthcare environments in regional, remote and urban settings. Charles Sturt was Australias first provider of a paramedicine degree and has a proud history of producing high-quality paramedicine graduates with excellent employment outcomes. Standard entry
- A completed High School Certificate with a minimum ATAR required (including adjustment factors) or equivalent.
- Licensed or Registered Advanced Care Paramedics (ACP) in Canada with a minimum of 12 months full-time or part-time experience currently practicing or eligible to practice in Canada. A completed High School Certificate with a minimum ATAR required (including adjustment factors) or equivalent. Successful completion of two university-level subjects (AQF level Associate Degree or higher) demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies. A completed AQF Certificate IV or higher level qualification. Paramedics employed with an ambulance service provider. Full-time medics with the Australian Defence Forces (ADF) who have completed the Basic Medical Assistance course and have 2 years post-qualification experience. Licensed or Registered Advanced Care Paramedics (ACP) in Canada with a minimum of 12 months full-time or part-time experience currently practicing or eligible to practice in Canada.
If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result. Always confirm exclusions for professional registration courses and the offer conditions.
