Course overview
Develop specialist knowledge in quantitative measurement and the evaluation of safe radiation exposure for patients and staff. Medical physicists are employed in the fields of radiotherapy, medical imaging, nuclear medicine and associated research and regulatory divisions of non-hospital institutions. Postgraduate entry
- An Australian bachelor degree with a GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.0 in a physical science, biomedical engineering or equivalent, having substantial physics and mathematics components.
If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result.
