Postgraduate and higher courses usually use academic prerequisites, degree equivalence and English-language requirements.
Postgraduate entry
- Either a Bachelor degree with a major in a relevant field, such as health sciences, social sciences, liberal arts, or education
- For applicants who have not completed substantial tertiary studies in English: IELTS (academic version only) 6.5 overall with minimum 6.0 in each subtest, or equivalent assessment of English language proficiency (the test must be completed no more than 2 years before commencement) Either a Bachelor degree with a major in a relevant field, such as health sciences, social sciences, liberal arts, or education Or a Graduate Certificate with a focus on health For applicants who have not completed substantial tertiary studies in English: IELTS (academic version only) 6.5 overall with minimum 6.0 in each subtest, or equivalent assessment of English language proficiency (the test must be completed no more than 2 years before commencement)
If your current English result is below direct entry, consider the university-recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package; successful completion at the required level can usually satisfy English entry without another English test.
