Course overview
Over the last ten years, a number of new services have been digitised and combined into a single, seamless all-purpose telecommunications and network architecture platform in third generation (3G), fourth generation (4G) mobile communication networks and the emerging fifth generation (5G) networks and Internet of things. These new applications and services are based on fast, reliable wired and wireless communications technology; hence, as technology becomes increasingly powerful, inexpensive and accessible, telecommunications and networking are becoming some of the fastest growing professions today.
