The Master of Accounting is ideal for those from a non-accounting background who require a pathway into professional bodies such as the CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and ACCA. Students hone general management skills and knowledge related to contemporary accounting issues and its practices. Graduates are able to analyse accounting issues effectively and strategically within a range of theories and frameworks. Graduates are typically employed in taxation, financial advice, costing, investigative accounting, strategic management and management consulting. Many company directors and managers have graduated with accounting qualifications.
