Course overview

Gain the knowledge and skills needed to help communities, companies and governments integrate the environmental, economic and social aspects of development, from site design to regional scale analysis. This program is for high-achieving students who have completed the Bachelor of Urban Planning, and want to advance their study and undertake a research project.

Standard entry

Completed at least 42 units towards the Bachelor of Urban Planning, including PLAN3001, and either:

  • have a GPA of 5.5 in courses that can be credited towards the BUPlan(Hons) program
  • satisfied the head of school that the person is qualified to undertake honours.
English requirement
IELTS Academic 6.5, no band below 6PTE Academic 64, no component below 60TOEFL iBT 87 (L 19 / R 19 / W 21 / S 19)

If your current English result is below direct entry, consider the university-recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package; successful completion at the required level can usually satisfy English entry without another English test.
