This program is designed to extend your technical mastery of your instrument or voice while deepening your knowledge of repertoire and performance practice. This program may be taken in any of the Conservatorium's instrumental areas. This course is designed to meet the needs of advanced graduates and young professional musicians who wish to extend their performance skills and knowledge in the context of current professional practice.

Entry requirements
Postgraduate and higher courses usually use academic prerequisites, degree equivalence and English-language requirements.
Postgraduate entry
- a bachelors degree of higher award from the University of Sydney, or equivalent qualification in an appropriate discipline as determined by the School
- a graduate certificate from the University of Sydney, or equivalent qualification in an appropriate discipline as determined by the School or
- completion of the requirements of an embedded graduate certificate in an appropriate discipline, as determined by the School, from the University of Sydney, or equivalent qualification
- successful completion of an audition. If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result.
