The honours course builds on the skills achieved in the Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience through independent research under the supervision of an academic staff member. The honours coursework units develop theoretical and methodological expertise, while the honours thesis, requiring original scholarship, develops and assesses disciplinary expertise. Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (Honours) can be completed after meeting the requirements of the 3-year specialist degree and the progression requirements for Honours.
