Course overview
The Graduate Diploma of Computing is a 1 year full time (or equivalent part time) degree for graduates from any discipline who wish to up skill, or for computing graduates who wish to refresh and enhance existing computing skills in the shortest time possible. The Graduate Diploma of Computing provides its graduates with a pathway into the IT industry or to more advanced study in the computing discipline.

Entry requirements
Postgraduate and higher courses usually use academic prerequisites, degree equivalence and English-language requirements.
Postgraduate entry
- A Bachelor degree or international equivalent with a minimum GPA of 4.0/7.0
- An AQF 6 qualification (Advanced Diploma/Associate Degree) or international equivalent, with at least 3 years of relevant work experience

If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result. Always confirm exclusions for professional registration courses and the offer conditions.
