Postgraduate entry

Master of Nursing 1.5-year Pathway (120 credit points):

  • Registered Nurse currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, or registration of nursing, within the last five years, in their own country.

Any other type of registration (non-practicing, limited, or student) is not acceptable for this program

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree in nursing (AQF Level 7 or equivalent).
  • Master of Nursing 1 year Pathway (80 credit points):
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree, or higher, in nursing (AQF Level 7 or equivalent)
  • Two years full-time equivalent work experience as a registered nurse within the last five years.
English requirement
Cambridge C1 Advanced 176, no component below 169Cambridge C2 Proficiency 176, no component below 169IELTS Academic 6.5, no band below 6PTE Academic 58, no component below 50TOEFL iBT 79, no component below 20

If your current English result is below direct entry, consider the university-recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package; successful completion at the required level can usually satisfy English entry without another English test.
